Lucia Lee was awarded a National Institutes of Health (NIH) F31 National Research Service Award (NRSA) from the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI). Her research investigates β-thalassemia in pregnancy, with a focus on how the pathological maternal environment impacts maternal and fetal health, as well as postnatal outcomes in offspring.
