Rebeca Fuquen

I aim to explore the anatomy, neurophysiology, and evolutionary development of unique sensory mechanisms to investigate the mediation of animal behavior, with a focus on understudied species. I am motivated by problems in conservation ecology and the implications of this work in improving animal welfare, through potentially informing veterinary medicine and husbandry protocols.
