Kameron Kooshesh

Kameron led a Mass General Brigham retrospective cohort study that combined epidemiology, clinical outcomes, and basic immunology data and established the importance of the thymus to the adult immune system. This work was the first demonstration that the thymus is essential to prevent and control cancer and autoimmune disease in adults and was published as an Original Article in the New England Journal of Medicine in 2023. Kameron’s continuing translational research focuses on the role of the thymus in a variety of disease states, including cancer, autoimmunity, and infection."
