MCIP does a joint commencement ceremony with the Department of Integrative Biology & Physiology (IBP). This year’s departmental commencement ceremony will be held on Saturday, June 15th, 2024, at 9:00am in Drake Stadium.

Who is eligible to participate?
If you graduated in Fall 2023, Winter 2024, or if you are a PhD degree candidate for Spring or Summer 2024.
Announcements/Caps & Gowns
All ordering is done online for your convenience at the Graduation Etc. website.

How do I let MCIP know that I am graduating?
You must submit the “Declaration of Commencement” form to the Graduate Student Services Office by Monday, April 22, 2024.
Do guests need tickets to attend?
Yes. Tickets ARE REQUIRED for this event. IBP/MCIP offer four (4) free tickets. Additional tickets for $20 each are available for purchase. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Guests are encouraged to arrive early to get the seating of their choice.
Parking
Drake Stadium can be found closest to Lot 7 and Lot 4. The parking fee per vehicle is $15. Pre-paid parking e-permits are available through Parking Services.
Diplomas
Diplomas will be available approximately 3 months after graduation.
Students will be notified by the Registrar’s Office about diploma pick-up.
